When You Can't Walk Away

February 22, 2026

Patience often doesn’t come naturally because we expect others to think and act like we do, which quickly leads to frustration when they don’t. God calls us to a deeper kind of patience that both endures through difficulty and stays slow to anger. We see this clearly in Jesus, who willingly bore hardship to restore our relationship with God. He showed us that patience is an active expression of love, not just waiting. As we stay connected to God, His Spirit works in us, helping us respond with grace instead of reacting out of frustration. In the end, our patience becomes a powerful way to show others who God is and what His love looks like in real life.
