What's Your Hope?
March 2, 2025
We’re continuing our journey through the book of Acts, focusing on Paul’s trial before King Agrippa in chapters 25 and 26. This trial is significant because Paul’s entire defense centers on one core truth—the resurrection of Jesus. Without the resurrection, Paul argues, the Christian faith falls apart, as it is the foundation of both the Old and New Testaments. Paul’s unwavering belief in the resurrection has led to years of imprisonment and countless hardships, yet he remains steadfast, trusting in Jesus' promise to lead him to Rome. Through this trial, we’re challenged to ask ourselves: Do we hold the resurrection as the central truth of our faith, and are we willing to stand firm for it, no matter the cost?
