What Are You Giving?
This message really challenges us to think deeply about what faith truly means—not just as a belief in God, but as a living, active trust in Jesus that transforms how we see and respond to the world. We looked at the story in Acts 3 where a man who had been lame from birth was miraculously healed, not by Peter and John’s own power, but through faith in the name of Jesus. That healing became a powerful moment that reveals how many of us might hold a belief in God, yet miss the presence and power of Jesus right in front of us. Peter called out the crowd for their passive faith, reminding them—and us—that real faith doesn’t just sit in the temple; it shows up in how we live, how we see others, and what we offer them. We are reminded that faith isn’t just personal; it’s meant to be shared. When we give what we have—our belief, our hope, our trust in Jesus—we become part of the ongoing work of God through the Holy Spirit. Faith like that changes lives.
