Transition

We kicked off our journey through the book of Acts by looking at the powerful truth that loneliness is one of the most damaging forces in our lives today—more so than smoking or obesity—and yet, the story of the early church shows us something radically different. Acts paints a picture of people deeply connected to each other and to Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit. This book is a continuation of the Gospel of Luke, telling the ongoing story of Jesus' work—now carried out through us, his followers. The same Spirit, same purpose, and same power that launched the church is available to us today. This transition from Jesus’ earthly ministry to his work through us is not just history—it’s our present and future. It's both personal and communal, and if we step into it fully, it can transform our lives, our church, and the world around us.
