Stewardship

June 29, 2025

Even in a world that feels unstable and uncertain, we can rest in the truth that God holds everything together—including the very foundations of our lives. We’ve been walking through a series called Life Unlocked, exploring core beliefs that shape how we live out our faith, and this week we're focusing on the idea of stewardship. Stewardship isn’t just about money—it’s about managing all that God has entrusted to us in a way that reflects our trust in Him. Jesus’ parable in Matthew 25 illustrates how we're each given different resources based on what we can handle—not for comparison, but so we can use them to grow in our individual relationship with God. If we truly know and trust the Master, we won’t hide what we have in fear; we’ll invest it in love. Stewardship flows into compassion, generosity, and mission—it all connects. So we ask ourselves: are we using what we have, whether it’s a lot or a little, to reflect God’s goodness, support His church, and draw closer to Him? Because in God’s economy, what matters most isn’t how much we’ve got—it’s how well we’ve used it to know Him and make Him known.
