Shipwrecked!

March 16, 2025

Life has a way of throwing unexpected storms at us, just like Paul experienced in Acts 27. We might feel like everything is fine one moment, and then suddenly, we’re hit with struggles—whether physical, financial, or emotional. But as Paul’s journey shows, God is fully aware of the storms we go through, and He has a purpose in them. Even in the middle of chaos, Paul remained steadfast, trusting that God was in control. His confidence in God’s presence and purpose encouraged those around him, even as their ship was being battered. This passage challenges us to shift our perspective—rather than just praying for the storm to end, we can ask God what He wants to teach us through it. Just like Paul, we are called to trust, to stand firm, and to remember that no storm is bigger than our God.
