Promises Kept, Power Unleashed
We’re in a series called Life Unlocked, where we’re exploring how what we believe shapes who we are and how we live. Using a scripture-rich book as our guide, we’re looking at the foundational truths of our Christian faith, then how those beliefs should lead to action, and ultimately shape who we become. This week, we focused on the belief in God—who He really is, not just who we imagine or want Him to be. We talked about how everyone worships something, whether we realize it or not—our phones, money, relationships—and how easy it is to let those things take God’s place. But the God of the Bible doesn’t compete; He invites us to recognize His faithfulness, power, and promises, just like He did for Israel throughout their journey. From Joshua to Elijah, we’re reminded again and again that God shows up, keeps His word, and deserves our wholehearted worship. We’re challenging ourselves to reflect on who or what we’re actually worshiping—and to return to the one true God who never fails.
