Palm Sunday

April 13, 2025

On Palm Sunday, we remember the day Jesus entered Jerusalem and was greeted as their long-awaited Messiah. But even in the middle of all the excitement, most of the crowd saw Jesus only through their own expectations, hoping He would save them from Rome rather than from their deeper spiritual need. We’re reminded not to be spectators like that crowd—shouting praise one day and turning away the next—but to truly let Jesus change us. Like Zacchaeus, who welcomed Jesus into his home and responded with a transformed heart, or the friends who tore through a roof to bring someone to Jesus, we’re challenged to live out real faith that’s active and surrendering. As we head into Easter, let’s move from simply observing Jesus to truly following Him, allowing His presence to change the way we live, love, and see others.
