On a Scale of One to Awesome

God’s promise of the “very best life” is often misunderstood as a simple guarantee of personal happiness, financial success, or an absence of struggle. Instead, we learn that a truly godly life is found by sharing in His divine nature and aligning our personal values and mission with God's will. Using the biblical story of Jehoiada the priest as a model, we see how prioritizing God’s guidance—even amidst danger and difficulty—leads to a deeply satisfying life that leaves an eternal impact. Ultimately, we should strive to move beyond just understanding these spiritual truths toward actively living them out by doing the good work God has prepared for us.
