I Have All I Need

Most of us aren’t nearly as humble as we think, and that hidden pride is what keeps us at a distance from God. Humility isn’t weakness—it’s the doorway to real life, where we stop trying to control everything and finally trust God as our Shepherd. Like sheep who wander, we often say “I’ve got this,” but humility means laying that illusion down and admitting we need Him for everything. Through examples like Moses, David, and even Jesus Christ washing His disciples’ feet, we see that God works most powerfully through surrendered hearts. When we humble ourselves, we don’t lose—we gain access to God’s presence, protection, and purpose. The challenge is simple but not easy: stop resisting the Shepherd, trust His lead, and discover that in Him, we truly lack nothing.
