Give What You Have

March 10, 2024

This week we walk through Acts 3, where Peter and John encounter a man who’s been crippled his whole life, begging outside the temple. He was stuck outside, not allowed in because of his condition—something that hits home for so many who feel like they’re not “good enough” to get close to God. But instead of giving him what he expected—money—they gave him what he truly needed: healing through Jesus. And that changed everything. He went from sitting on the outside to walking, jumping, and praising God on the inside. It's a powerful reminder that we are now the temple of God, that his presence lives in us, and that we’re called to stop walking past people in need—spiritually, emotionally, physically—and instead look them in the eye, reach out, and give them what we have: Jesus. It’s not about being perfect or having it all together; it’s about being willing to give away what we’ve already received. That’s our calling as the Church.
