Are you tech savvy, a computer guru, or behind-the-scenes type of person? Does your life reflect your walk with God in the way you speak, act, think, and live? If your desire is to worship God with your life and talents then we would love to plan a time to sit down with you and talk about what goes on here at West Valley, the values of the Technical Team, and hear your story and how God has gifted you!

You don’t have to be an expert at sound systems, computers, microphones, and frequencies to be a part of the tech team, however, we are looking for people who have an interest, natural skill, are committed to arriving early and staying a little late, do their best, continue to learn, and join the team with an attitude of service. Our focus when we worship through running the technical aspects of the service is to bring God the glory, not ourselves! Part of that means being on a rotating schedule, arriving on time, being flexible, and living a life that honors God in all you do!

Currently we have two tech team members serving each Sunday on a rotational basis, one runs sound and the other runs slides. The sound tech arrives before the band, makes sure the sound system is up and running, troubleshoots anything that comes up, and makes the music team sound their best. The slide tech arrives early, double checks the order of service on the computer, and runs ProPresenter 3 and PowerPoint. Our team members work together and support each other in order to make our Sunday morning service run as smoothly as possible.
